26th December: Boxing Day Walk
A  joint party of twenty members from the South Lakes Group and Lancaster CTC  section set off from Devils Bridge, Kirby Lonsdale under the leadership of  Ray Moss along various paths through High Casterton and then followed the bridleway through Blindloss Farm, then along Fellfoot Lane before turning off on Fell Road. After steep climb up Fell Road, they follow the footpath up to Brownthwaite Pike and stop for lunch by the Cairn.
After lunch the party follow a route around Barbon Low Fell before dropping down to the road near Tuplot Wood, then followed the road down to hamlet of Bellgate, where they follow the footpaths across to Langthwaite, then followed the lanes down into Casterton, where they cross over the A683 and followed the footpath around Casterton hall. Where they crossed back over the A683 and followed the bridleway along Laitha Lane back into Kirkby Lonsdale.
