Along Katherine Edge to Charters Moss Plantation, across the A666 at Dunscar and around the flank of Cheetam Close to our lunch destination at Turton Tower. Returning via Edge Lane, Bull Hill and Darwen Moor. A moderate ride of about 25 miles, more details here.

Yorkshire Dales Group ride: A moderate ride from Burnsall. Meet in the carpark by the river at 10am. GR SE 032611. The car park cost £3.00, if there's space parking on the road is free. We are intending to visit Hebden, Grassington, Bordley and Cracoe on bridleways and quiet lanes. There will be an early morning tea/coffee stop as well as a lunch stop and possibly one for afternoon tea too!

South Lakes Group ride along Old Coach Road from Dockray to St. John in Vale: Meet at 10am at the Ashes Lane carpark on A591 between Kendal and Staveley. The first cafe stop will be at Wilfs in Staveley. The ride will be about 50 miles.

THE WAYFARER MEMORIAL RIDE.
Turn right off the Llangollen to Corwen road (A5) at map ref SJ149426, and continue to the car park at Glyndyfrdwy Station, map ref SJ150428 for the start of the ride at 10-30am. We will take a quiet lane through the Ceiriog Forest to Glyn Ceiriog. Lunch will be at the Wayfarer Arms in Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, have a bar snack or bring your own sandwiches.We will then take the 'Over the Tops' route, crossing Nant Rhydwilym to the Wayfarers Memorial, erected originally by the Lancashire Section of the RSF. Lancashire Group ride: At 10-00am. Meet on the public car park near Wycoller Village, SD 925394, this is the car park between the Village and the town of Trawden. This will be a moderate/hard ride of about 27 miles. Riding alongside Boulsworth Hill to our first cafe stop at the Coldwell Activity Centre. Thence down the quiet roads and tracks to Hurstwood via Worsthorne. We then join the Mary Towneley Loop of the Pennine Bridleway for a couple of miles, before joining the Bronte Way back to the Activity Centre for Afternoon Tea. We then re-join the Bronte Way, for the return leg of the ride back to Wycoller. More details here.
