Situated within a few feet of the edge of Loweswater. A stone built bothy, converted from a fish hatchery hut, which provides an ideal spot for small groups to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Simple 2 room construction; a common/ kitchen, with an open fire and calor cooking. Sleeping room for up to 10 people. Firewood and calor gas provided. Outside toilet. Not suitable  for wheelchair access.
NB Private boats not allowed on Loweswater, Trust boats available for hire.

High Wray Basecamp

Set in its own grounds near the hamlet of High Wray, close to Low Wray Campsite. An ideal walking and sailing base. High Wray is excellent for youth groups, hiking groups and similar. Purpose built, chalet style premises providing self catering accommodation for up to 38 people. Two blocks (one sleeping 16, the other 22) both with kitchens, bathrooms and one with central heating. Launching of non powered  craft on Windermere by special arrangement with Low Wray Campsite. Primarily for conservation groups but private groups very welcome too.
