Ride Report by Simeon Orme
There was good turnout for joint Memorial ride for Fred Lloyd with Lancaster CTC at the Bridge House Farm at Wray but it was case of to much talking being done my Lancaster CTC members, as Mik and John got fed up of waiting for them to finish there brews and headed off over the Salter Fell road to Slaidburn which Mr Lloyd would approve of and John did send me e-mail saying that the weather was quite wild on the tops.
Yes the weather was not brilliant but it was disappointing to see how many CTC members headed back home after the brewstop, the ride it self was quick bash around the lanes to Lowgill before heading back along Mewith Lane where I decide to peel off and headed to Ingleton for some lunch.
Then after lunch following lanes back through Low Bentham and back over to Wray for afternoon brew at the Bridge House Farm Tearooms before heading for home.
