Ride Report by Simeon Orme
Well I was not surprise see anybody waiting for me at Bridge House Farm Tea Rooms due to bad weather forecast but it nice to see that bridge at the Crook n’ Lune is now reopen after being close during the summer months, also the Lune Valley Cycle track as been extended a bit further up the valley from Bull Beck on the ride up to Wray from Halton,
After the cafe stop at Wray, I headed up the Hindburn Valley to Mill Houses, then followed the lanes over to Wennington. From Wennington I then headed along Lodge Lane over to Melling then down the A683 to Hornby where I cross over River Lune via Lyon Bridge, then follow lanes through Eskrigge and Aughton back home to Halton for lunch.
