7th August 2010: A ride along old Shap Road.

The food photo at Wilf’s Cafe in Staveley. Ian join us at Wilf’s Cafe after cycling up from Milnthorpe where he had park his car via Brigsteer.

The view from the summit of Potter Fell Lane looking down into the Kent Valley, it was raining over Kendal but we manage avoid all the rain showers until we got back to the cars at Ashes Lane.

Looking back down the public byway from Ashstead to the A6, we did see young deer crossing over the track, as we climb up to the A6.

We stop for lunch beside Borrow Beck.
