14th November 2010: A ride around the Silverdale and Arnside Area.

Ed at the start of our first bridleway over Warton Crag.
Regrouping at summit of the track, we all had get off and push our bikes up the track including Brian the Lancashire Group Secretary.
At end of the track we had stop to replace Ian front gear cable.
We stop at Leighton Moss RSPB Visitor Centre where sat outside having our sandwhichs.
Then going to the cafe for a brew.
The start of the bridleway over Arnside Knott which one walker try to tell some of
the party that we could ride our bikes up unfortunately for him its one of few bridleways
in Arnside and Silverdale AONB that you can ride bike on and I have be riding along
this track off and on for last 30 years and my Mum Pat Lloyd as be using this track
for 50 plus years, its just a shame that are not that many bridleways in the Arnside
and Silverdale AONB that cyclists can use, walkers are well cater for in this area
with over 100 miles of footpaths in the AONB. Its something that management team
of the AONB will have thing about providing more off-
