Saturday 29th August: A ride over High Green Field Knott, down Langstrothdale and Wharfedale, then up Littondale.

Looking back down track towards Horton-in-Ribbledale. We join on the first part of our ride by the Chairman of the club who left us after first few miles has he had to ride Garstang where he was staying the night.

Following the public byway towards Dawson Close, we shelter at one point behind wall due to heavy rain shower blowing down the valley.

Following Long Lane down  into Ribbledale.

Heading down Long Lane, you can see the hills of the Forest of Bowland in the distance.

We followed the track down to Helwith Bridge before following the B6479 back to the cars parked in Horton-in-Ribbledale
