Sunday 15th November 2009: A ride to Beetham.

I was bit late getting to the start of last week ride due to another motorist clipping my door mirror of my van.

A interesting photo of  the car park at Tom Croft Hill, I took before heading for home, has no one waiting for me and did not fancy doing the ride myself  with the forecast of heavy showers for the day!

It was wet start for the first part this week ride we followed our usually route through Holme and Farleton to the Farleton View Tearoom.

Bill and Peter chatting at the tearoom , it was Bill first ride with the Rough-Stuff Fellowship.

The tearoom was closing for winter today and reopens on the 1st March next year.

Heversham Head Plantation.

At the start of bridleway at Mabbin Hall.

Following the track down to the A6.

A view from the track looking towards Levens.

Following the lanes across Milnthorpe Marsh.

Following the road through Dallam Park.

The lunch stop at the Tearoom  at the Old Post Office at Beetham.

Outside the tearoom.

We followed this interesting track out of  Beetham village up to Low Wood Edge.

A view looking up the valley to Arnside Tower.

Following the bridleway from Yealand Hall across White Moss to Nineteen Acre Lane.

A small holding at the side of the track.

Heading along our next to last track of the day!

After leaving Charlie and Bill at end of the last track near Warton Cricket Club who headed back to their cars park at Tewitfield, both Simeon and Peter had punctures in Warton has we riding back towards  Lancaster.
