Sunday 12th July: A ride to Staveley.

Cake photo one at Farleton View Tea Room, We had followed the group usual route to get the tearoom from the starting point at Tewitfield  following the lanes through Holme and Farleton , getting to tearoom just before 11.00am

A lunch time view, we stop to have lunch beside the track near Cappierigg, at this point in the ride we done about 20 miles.

The lunch box, a few miles later we stop at Wilf’s cafe for a brew.

A dry stone walling training centre near Lane Cottage, on lane between Stainton Bridge End and the B6385 its worth stopping a few minutes just look at the different styles of dry stone walling there are!

A view looking down Kellet Lane, I took this photo has was riding back home from the finish of the ride at Tewitfield, I think it was longest ride that Mark had done so far at just over 48 miles and before you ask  its 6 miles to get from Halton where I live to Tewitfield so once I got home I had done just over 60 miles.
